Instagram Competitor Content: AI Winning Posts Finder on the Apify Store →
Tutorial for the Apify blog guest program, dev.to, Medium and Hashnode — the owner publishes it and records the URL in brief.json → marketing.links.
You track a handful of competitor Instagram accounts. Every week you scroll their grids, guess which posts did well, and paste links into a sheet — about 10 hours for 100 posts. A big brand's average post out-scores a small account's best one, so raw like counts mislead: what matters is how far a post beat its own profile's usual engagement.
Click Try it — the form is pre-filled with 18 sample posts from three profiles and returns the 6 winners in seconds, nothing charged. Then type your competitors' usernames in "Instagram profiles to analyse" and press Start. Open the Shortlist view: each row is a post with its multiple of the profile's median (6.9×), format, hook pattern and the angle to copy. The Why they won view shows hook, pillar, call to action and posting time. Export to CSV or Google Sheets.
10 profiles × 30 posts = 300 posts scanned by the source scraper on your account ($0.30) → about 36 winners (≈ 12 %, an estimate until measured). Here you pay $0.006 per winner with rules only ($0.52 in total, ≈ $0.014 per winner) or $0.04 with AI analysis ($1.80 in total, ≈ $0.050 per winner). Your first 25 winning posts are free.
Open the saved task, click Schedule (weekly) and add your e-mail: only new winners are delivered and charged, and the digest shows the trend against last week. API: client.actor("<your-apify-username>/ig-competitor-winning-posts").call(run_input={"profiles": ["bluebottle"], "outlierMultiple": 2, "maxDiscoveryChargeUsd": 0.5}) — the README has the full Python and JavaScript snippets.
