Search PR Newswire press releases by company or topic
Give it a list of companies and get each company's own PR Newswire releases in one newest-first list, or pick PR Newswire's topic lists (mergers and acquisitions, earnings, executive appointments, bankruptcy, contract awards, venture capital and 60 more) and get every release filed there. Each record has the headline, the issuing company, stock tickers, dateline, exact publish time, the opening paragraph and a link to the release. It is for sales and business-development teams watching target accounts, investors and analysts, PR teams following competitors, and anyone building a news feed or an AI agent that needs "what did these companies announce?".
What you get
A run on 1 October 2026 for three companies (two releases each at most), as the CSV from the script under Downloads saved it:
| date | company | tickers | title |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-01 | Kimberly-Clark Corporation | NASDAQ: KMB; NYSE: KVUE | Kimberly-Clark Announces Planned Executive Transitions and Updates to Post-Closing Leadership Team |
| 2026-09-28 | Gates Corporation | NYSE: GTES | Gates Completes Acquisition of the Belts Business from The Timken Company |
| 2026-09-28 | Kimberly-Clark Corporation | NASDAQ: KMB; NYSE: KVUE | Kimberly-Clark Corporation Announces Commencement of Exchange Offers and Consent Solicitations for Kenvue Notes |
| 2026-09-22 | Thor Industries, Inc. | THOR INDUSTRIES ANNOUNCES FISCAL 2026 FOURTH QUARTER AND FULL YEAR RESULTS | |
| 2026-09-10 | Thor Industries, Inc. | THOR INDUSTRIES ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL LEADERSHIP CHANGES PERTAINING TO THE STRATEGIC EVOLUTION OF ITS NORTH AMERICAN RV OPERATING MODEL | |
| 2026-08-24 | Gates Corporation | Gates Redefines High-Performance Racing with Historic UCI Downhill Racing Victory |
Six releases, six charged ($0.30 on the Free plan). Each was issued by the watched company itself: a watchlist skips releases that only mention a company. Tickers appear when the release tags them. Every record also carries the exact publish time with its time zone (published_at), the dateline city, the opening paragraph (summary), the release URL and a stable record_id for de-duplication; full text is optional.
Get it in one click
Open the Actor, PR Newswire Scraper — Company & Topic Search, open it in Apify Console, paste a watchlist into the JSON view of the input and press Start (6 releases, $0.30 on the Free plan):
{"companies": ["Kimberly-Clark", "Gates Corporation", "Thor Industries"], "maxReleasesPerCompany": 2, "maxReleases": 6}
or topics (up to 10 releases, $0.50 at most):
{"topics": ["mergers_acquisitions", "executive_appointments"], "maxReleases": 10}
Add "keyword": "AI" to narrow topics or a watchlist to releases whose headline or opening lines mention it, and "dateFrom": "2026-09-24" for a start date.
Get it from code
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/nexgensignal~press-release-monitor-api/run-sync-get-dataset-items?maxTotalChargeUsd=1" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $APIFY_TOKEN" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"topics": ["mergers_acquisitions"], "maxReleases": 10}'
Or the Python script under Downloads, which saves a CSV (it produced the table above):
export APIFY_TOKEN=your_apify_token # Windows: set APIFY_TOKEN=your_apify_token
python prnewswire_to_csv.py --companies "Kimberly-Clark" "Gates Corporation" "Thor Industries" --per-company 2 --max 6
python prnewswire_to_csv.py --topics mergers_acquisitions executive_appointments --max 10
python prnewswire_to_csv.py --topics venture_capital --keyword AI --since 2026-09-24
The script starts one run per call. If Apify does not answer, it stops and says so: the run may still have started, so check Apify Console → Runs before running it again. Python 3.8+, nothing to install.
Keep watching
Add "newSinceLastRun": true (watch mode) to the input and schedule the run in Apify (or call it from cron): each run then delivers only releases you have not received before, so a daily run costs as much as that day's releases and no more.
What it costs
Existing prices: you pay per release delivered, plus a start charge of $0.00005 per run.
| Apify plan | Per release | The 6-release watchlist above | A 10-release topic search |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0.05 | $0.30 | $0.50 |
| Bronze | $0.045 | $0.27 | $0.45 |
| Silver | $0.04 | $0.24 | $0.40 |
| Gold / Platinum / Diamond | $0.0335 | $0.20 | $0.34 |
Nothing found, nothing charged. If PR Newswire cannot be reached the run says so and charges nothing. With a maximum cost per run set, the run stops there and says "CAPPED".
Know before you rely on it
- PR Newswire only. Not Business Wire, GlobeNewswire or other wires.
- Topics are PR Newswire's own tags, set when a release is sent; a few releases are filed loosely.
- Watchlist matching is by name. The issuer name must contain your company name; a brand that differs from the legal issuer ("Google" vs "Alphabet") needs its own entry. Without
dateFrom, each company's search is read 300 results deep. - English releases only; tickers only when tagged.
- Publicity, not verified fact. Releases are written by the issuers. E-mail addresses, phone numbers and media-contact blocks are removed; names quoted in a release stay as published.
- A monitor, not an archive: one topic or search is read at most 4,000 releases deep per run.
- Not affiliated with PR Newswire or Cision.
